Fashion Advice
Don’t follow the trends, stay ahead of them. Create your personal look and stick with it while adding in a few must-haves every season. Don’t be afraid to spend a little more on what I call an “investment piece” i.e. a leather jacket, statement accessory, or a great pair of shoes. Accessories and the right undergarments are essential to completing your perfect look.
Original Style
Edgy, classic looks are my favorite. Show a little skin with a V-neck top, put on a shoe that adds height, add an accessory that is unexpected! I also love layers! I am often called the Layering Queen. Whether it’s layers of necklaces, layering tops, or adding leather jackets or sleeveless blazers to finish your look, layers are a key part of my personality.

I love all of our designers carried at A Perfect Pear Boutique! I am always searching for classic lines as well as unexpected designs. The lines I find in my closet the most are 360 sweaters, Trina, Turk, Mother denim, Leatherock, and Alexis Bittar.

Growing up, I always had an appreciation for the fashion industry. I attended Bradley University and completed a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Before joining the APPB team, I interned with the Visual Merchandising department at Bloomingdale’s in Chicago.
Fashion Advice: Buying clothes can be overwhelming at times, start with what you need. Slowly add in one of-a-kind piece that you can style with multiple items in your closet. Quantity doesn’t always mean quality!
Original Style: Don’t get me wrong, I love following the trends, but most of the time, I like to stand out. I enjoy putting the unexpected outfit together!
“Perfect Look”: Layers are great for any season. I think throwing on a leather jacket finishes any look to make it perfect.

Fashion Advice: I have always felt that if you accentuate the positive features of your body and learn to dress the features you are not pleased with; your confidence level will rise and stylish originality will result.
